The Holidays have just ended, and I hope yours were as pleasant as ours - but I hope your living-room is more orderly than ours - and it's two weeks after the bearded one's visit.

Three of us got back to the Hanover Inn in December: Clarke Church, Doug Thomson and I. I drove up with a carload of applicants for the Class of i960. I intend to go up again next week (the 21st) with another group. It's a nice excuse to get back to town, and I always enjoy seeing old friends there - including the McGeans and the Sweetlands who are lucky enough to live there.

Weddings: Nick Sheppard of New York was married to Mary Elizabeth Albert of Rockville Centre, N. Y., on November 19. Nick is with a Manhattan law firm. ... Herb Gramstorff of Harrison, N. Y., was married to Miss Ann Hill Doyle of Garden City, N. Y., on December 10. One of Herb's ushers was BobAlden. Herb is with the Nestle Company of White Plains. ... John Stearns of Wilton, Conn., was married on November 26 to Miss Winifred Clarke Anthony of Palm Beach, Fla. John is with a New York law firm. ... DickMallary of Bradford, Vt., was married on December 10 to Mary Harper Coxe of Wilton, Conn. Dick operates his own dairy farm in Bradford.
Two miscellaneous items: Earl Sutherland is now a member of the technical staff of the Systems Laboratories, Hughes Research and Development, Culver City, Calif. He was formerly associated with Northrop Aircraft Corporation. ... 1st Lt. Carl Granger is scheduled to take part in Exercise Sage Brush in Louisiana, the largest Army-Air Force maneuver since World War 11. Some 110,000 Army troops will test the latest concepts of atomic, bacteriological, chemical and electronic warfare. Carl is regularly stationed at Fort Sam Houston in Texas.

Bill Ballard is now with Batten, Barton, Durstine & Osburn (advertising agency) as a copywriter on the General Electric and Lever Brothers accounts. ... LewGeer announces the latest addition to his family - Mary Jane last June 10. ... JohnGallup announces the arrival of Bruce Valle Gallup on October 24. ... Terry Maphis is attending law school in Washington while working on the editorial staff of the Washington Post, so he's real busy. ... Paul Erwin announces that his nuptials are slated for January, t00. ... Tom Swartz reports that he and Ann just bought a new house in Short Hills, N. J. He also enclosed a baby-clothes ad for Thomas Textiles for "prowl-abouts" which was in the November Ladies' HomeJournal, which shows a young man wearing said article - the young man turns out to be Tommy Jr. in what Tom says is damned cheap model expenses. He works for his meals. He's a real cute tike, t00. ... Pat andLou Clarke report from Overland Park, Kansas, that they owe many finance companies, have no new additions except tropical fish, and that they get a lot of snow out there - but it goes fast.
