Well, it just goes to show ya ... when the alumni come through on the Alumni Fund, they get a good football team! And this is the issue in which we wish to thank all of you for making this our very best Fund year, and particularly to recognize Phil Penberthy and his assistant class agents for their splendid work.

Just about this time, Bill Orr will have moved into his lavishly new, 28,000-square-foot Cadillac agency building. In addition to all the latest service equipment, Bill is installing a complete body shop. Any of you lads in the New England or New York area looking for a new Cad owe it to yourselves to take a run up to Springfield and see Mad Man Orr. Also from Springfield comes word that Maurice Park has formed a law partnership with John H. Mitchell Jr. So if you happen to run over a policeman coming out of Orr's lot, just trot on over to Maurice's offices at 115 State Street.

Tom Streeter has joined Meyer & Depew Co. Inc., heating and air conditioning contractors, in Union, N. J., as vice president in charge of engineering. He will be responsible for designing the air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial buildings as well as custom-built homes. Dick Lesser has been transferred by G.E. from New York City to Burlington where he will be Manager of Compensation and Benefits of the plants there.

With all this Sputnik-Muttnik business going on, it is gratifying to know that one of our regular Army officers, Capt. Fred Hickey is wresting with outer space at the Missile Division, USA Artillery Board, in Fort Bliss, Tex. Wemo Epply is getting all set for the skiing season and has just moved into a new home on Rip Road in Hanover. Harry Carey is Assistant Cashier at the National Shawmut Bank in Boston and living out in Sudbury. Bob Fairbanks is Editor of the Natick Bulletin in Natick. George Recke is in the area too, an officer of the Davis Sales Association in Waltham, and hangs his coat in Cohasset. Dr. Bob Lindsay is now in Holden, Mass.; Ted Monro is right in the Hub, both home and office, where he is Treasurer of Monro Kincaid Mottla, Inc.; and Dick Wilson, commuting out of Wellesley, is Assistant Radiologist at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. I presume all of these gentlemen enjoyed the Harvard game last week.

Spreading West a bit, George D. Cornell, remarkably enough, is with the George D. Cornell Co. in Cleveland; Bob Harris and Dr. Pete Bruch likewise, spend their Sundays cheering on the Browns; Wilbur Reinman is just down the pike in Youngstown and Walt Price just a piece further south in Gallipolis. Striding a few leagues west, Lem Arnold is now in the City Beautiful, Dayton.

Beyond, in Omaha, is Ed Rehurek, Bill Trease in lowa City, Dr. Sterling Suddarth in Littleton, Colo., Dr. George Kent in Phoenix, Johnny Lesher with Weyerhaeuser Timber in Tacoma, Dr. Walt Blackadar in Salmon, Ida., Dr. Bob Petersen in Fullerton, Calif., and, for you travellers, you can find Don Lindell in Rio .. .de Janeiro, that is.

Again congratulations on your fine job in the Alumni Fund this year!
