Miss Polly Mulcahy, daughter of Major and Mrs. George Mulcahy became the bride of Richard B. McGinn on Saturday February 23. McGinn, former Winthrop High School and Worcester Academy athlete, recently was discharged after three and a half years in the Army Air Forces.

Engagements were announced by Mr. and Mrs. Leonard R. Manley of La Jolla, Calif., of their daughters Priscilla and Joan. Priscilla is to become the bride of Paul E. Swain Jr. of Oklahoma City in April. She is a graduate of Mills College and her fiance attended the University of Oklahoma before he entered the Marine Corps. Joan is betrothed to Alfred Jack Mullen USNR of Kingman, Ariz. She was graduated from Bishops' School and is a junior at the University of Arizona, which is also Mullen's Alma Mater. They are planning a summer wedding.

Brig Knight's sons are out of the Air Corps. Arthur, a lieutenant, is making machine tools at Marlboro, and Jack, who had a medical discharge is in a Marlboro woolen mill.

The class extends its sympathy to Ez Crowley whose wife died about February 18 after a long illness. Young Ez is back, out of the Navy, and with Hygrade Sylvania Corp.

Harvey Nolan's three years' service in the Army did not keep him out of Dartmouth. To Walter and Irene's delight his application was accepted last month.

Jay Runkle, vice president and general manager of Crowley Milner & Co. was the speaker at one of the weekly luncheon meetings of the Sales Executive Club of New York in February.

Bill and Mrs. Terry were at the Hanover Inn in February, down from Westmount, Quebec, and Lt. Comdr. and Mrs. Carl Shumway were also there for the February 22nd weekend.

An unusually large number of '13ers paid their respects to President Dickey at the Boston dinner: Jack Nelson, Harold McAllister, Brig Knight, Bill Mason, Jim Jordan, Fairbanks, Jiggs Donahue, Linscott, Bill Davis, Merrill, Stokes, George Knight, Marc Wright, Munsey, Shepard, Wilkins and Trowbridge at the Head Table representing the Worcester Dartmouth Club. Frank Cushman came to the hotel but became ill and was cared for by the hotel people until sent to the New England Baptist Hospital.

Frank lived during the next day but about seven in the evening quietly passed away. Frank will be greatly missed at all our gatherings.

On Saturday March 2, just after the dinner, Jake Enright died at his home in Belmont after only two weeks' illness. Further notice of this loyal classmate's passing will be found in this issue. Jake has been traveling back and forth between Boston and New York for some time, so ha!s missed some of our gatherings, but he and Marc Wright toured to Hanover for the Cornell game last fall.

Gus Perry has been in the U. S. Veterans' Hospital in White River Jet., Vt., with a concussion. He is coming to Boston as he had been assigned to the New Veterans' Administration branch office at 55 Tremont St. His son Charles has been discharged from the Army and is now teaching and doing graduate study at the University of Rochester. Nathaniel, their second son, has also been discharged from the Army after 22 months in the South Pacific area. Peter, the third son, is a finance commando at Fort Devens, going into the Army last August 13th after one semester at Oberlin College. We wish Gus and Alice good luck in finding a place in or around Boston.

Reunion plans are developing and weekly luncheons are being held tor the 1913, 1914, 1915 and 1916 managers. In Boston the Class Luncheon is held on Wednesdays 11:45 at Pattens, 41 Court St., 2nd floor. You will not only find your classmates but friends from the other three classes.
