The Executive Committee of our class held a meeting at the Dartmouth Club in New York on Friday, October 31, the night before the Yale game.

There was an excellent turnout, including the following: Chairman Reg Bankart, FranChase, Ted Harbaugh, Ted Steele, Art Bamford, Ralph Specht, Bo Kreer, Sid Diamond,Doug Ley, Bob Naramore, Ed Offutt, JohnWallace, George Colton, and Mac McCarty.

Class secretary McCarty and treasurer FranChase gave routine reports on their activities, but the subjects which proved of most importance for discussion were plans for the upcoming 25th Reunion, and the class' participation in the Capital Funds and Memorial Funds campaigns.

Ralph Specht, 25th Reunion chairman, presented an initial program of events scheduled for June, 1960. Specht's plan was enthusiastically received, and he was urged by the committee to proceed with the program and enlist the talents and assistance of other members of the class in preparing for this 25th Reunion, which traditionally is a class' most important post-graduation event.

Head class agent Ted Harbaugh reported an increasingly fine participation by 35 in the Alumni Fund over recent years. He also stated that many generous contributions by our members had already begun to help swell the Capital Funds' chest. But Harbaugh, following a comprehensive presentation by Colton on all apects of the Capital Funds campaign, called the attention of the committee to the serious nature of the job which must be done the next two years to match the performance of classes on each side of '35.

During the meeting it was agreed that either a new class directory or a special 25th Reunion book (to be determined after further study) should be brought out prior to the Reunion in 1960.

YALE GAME PICNIC

The Saturday of the Yale game turned out to be a classic New England fall day, and many members of the class gathered in Parking Field "C" late in the morning for a picnic reunion before proceeding on inside the Bowl. Bob Naramore had turned up early and erected a large "'35" sign, so that our meeting place was easy to locate, and by RegBankart's count 29 members of the class, along with many wives and children, were on hand.

This pre-Yale game reunion picnic has developed into a traditional fall event, and any members of the class who get to Yale games in future years should by all means arrive early to join in these gala festivities.
