Mystic Valley

Our fall season started October 23 - two days before the Harvard game - under the able guidance of our new President, Paul Poehler '30. The college furnished us Prof. John B. Stearns as the featured speaker. We had much enthusiasm and a much fun together.

Perhaps some sensed a defeat at the stadium and stayed away because we numbered 57 instead of the usual 70 or 80. However, our speaker, Prof. Stearns, made our evening victorious by his ease of speaking and his vivid personality. Bill Cusack '27 again loaned to us his charming Music Hall for the occasion.

These meetings are very informal and friendly affairs. We hope for a record turnout at the spring meeting. Any suggestions for a different type meeting will be welcomed by the secretary and will be passed along to the executive committee.
