AS this month's report goes to press Dartmouth mouth has just thumped Cornell 32-15 and Princeton has crushed Yale 50-14 to set the stage for the second year in a row for a Dartmouth-Princeton clash at Palmer Stadium to decide the Ivy League football championship. Whether the Indians can revenge last year's loss to Princeton remains to be seen, but win or lose, this has been another magnificent year for Dartmouth football and in many ways a better one than the 1957 season.

To date the Big Green football squad has six wins and two defeats. The Dartmouth varsity soccer season is over, with the Indians winning four games and losing six, and having a 3-3 record in Ivy League play. The varsity cross-country team had its poorest season in recent years with only one victory and five losses. Varsity totals show eleven wins and thirteen defeats.

On the freshman level, the football team had two wins against three defeats; the soccer team recorded six wins, two ties and one defeat; and the cross-country runners were undefeated in five dual meets to bring the freshman team records up to thirteen wins, two ties and four losses.

Dartmouth's informal rugby teams are undefeated and unscored upon in six contests, the Dartmouth Sailing Club did very well during an abbreviated fall season, and in general Dartmouth sports for the 1958-1959 season seem to be off to a fine start.
