On the fifth of this month in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria there will be a dinner given for Dartmouth people by Dartmouth people. Because of distance or Uncle Sam many of "us young 'uns" cannot attend, but the Waldorf Dinner is significant. The dinner is in honor of President-Emeritus Hopkins, the person responsible for the beginning of the present college expansion. At the same time it is also part of the increasing momentum of interest in the expansion plan slated for completion at the College's 200th Anniversary in 1969. The persons responsible for this increasing momentum collectively title themselves The Dartmouth Alumni Fund and the 200th Anniversary Development Program. It is their aim and our responsibility to see that the part we play in this motto, "Helping to keep Dartmouth strong today, stronger tomorrow" is fulfilled. The above is on behalf of Stephen C. Lampl, Class Agent.

This month's BMOC Award goes to TonyBodine. He has been able to fool my main source of information, the newspapers. Last month they faithfully reported that he had been inducted into the Army so that is what I put in the column. This month they tell me that he has been promoted to application engineer for the Jersey Central Power and Light Company. Congratulations are in order. Could it be that Tony has two jobs? If so, then his Alumni Fund contribution should be among the largest in the class.

Recently Pete Dietz, who is at Tuck School, announced his engagement to Miss Elizabeth Candee. They plan to be married in the summer. Also engaged are Miss Deborah Will man and Art Pierce. Art is at Harvard working for a Master's Degree in Education. Recently married are Fran Sarnie and Miss Patricia Raegan. Fran and his new wife are living in Fort Sill, Okla., where he is stationed in the Artillery. Phil Rollins was an usher at the wedding. Tim Hanley was married in North Carolina to Miss Nancy G. Cone. Ushers at the Wedding were Pete Falcon, Dick Welsh Gordon Hally and Jim Barker '56. As soon as Tim completes his tour of duty in the Navy he will return to Tuck School. A while back Pete Pullen was married to Miss Barbara Pickering. Bob Rex and Jim Francis were ushers in the wedding.

A wonderful Christmas card-letter from Pat and Monte Pascoe shows that they are having a wonderful time with married life. Monte is beginning the second semester at Stanford Law School. Pat is teaching in a nearby school and taking classes given by Stanford for all Law wives. All the way over on this side of the country Al Dessoff is at Columbia's School of Journalism learning the problems of the editor. Apparently there is quite a nest of Dartmouth people at Columbia. Tony Appel-Segal is also in the Journalism School. Dan Searby is in the Business School and Dan Frankel in the Music School, as well as Carl Hoagland and Marty Rosenberg, who are in the Law School.

Another New York City correspondent is Mike Lasser. Last summer Ed Hyman, who is presently studying Engineering at MIT, was married to Miss- Marjorie Bali. Among the ushers were Bob Shreibman, Bob Hannoch, and Joel Levy. In December, Mike was married riedto a Douglass College senior, Miss Elaine Goldenthal. Bob Hannoch is engaged to Miss Gloria Milask, a student at Temple University. Bob is presently employed by Heller and Mayer, stockbrokers. Skip Traynham, who is studying at Oxford, seems to be enjoying that area as well as that little town down the road, London.

Brad Curtis went to work for IBM in June. He had a training period in Bridgeport, Conn., and was totally unprepared when they said he was assigned to the Miami, Fla., Office. Such a fate. He is having a wonderful time with a "great crew of salesmen showing me how to do this.that and the other."

I hope all is well with you-all over the country.
