Freddie Welch came East the first of September to help celebrate the 60th Anniversary Old Home Day in Lempster, N. H. He was one of twenty who were present also at the first Old Home Day in 1899. The class will be sorry to learn that his wife, Dora, passed away on April 23.

Clarence Tourtellotte writes from Vancouver that Katherine and he celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last July and on September 12 they celebrated the marriage of their granddaughter, Carol Fisher, to Bruce Lawson.

Roy Owen is planning to spend the months of December, January, February, March and April in Florida. Can be reached at 3883 Wood Ave., Miami 33.

Herb Rainie has decided not to seek reelection as alderman-at-large in Concord. Having served as county solicitor, councilman, alderman, state representative and state senator, Herb feels that he has done his share in public service.

Even though he has passed his seventy-fifth birthday, Tubby Laton still operates some clinics and runs his office.

Another of the 1906 widows has pledged a substantial amount to the Hopkins Center. Hallie Smith has given the money for an administrative office in the Center in Joe's memory and also for a band and orchestra rehearsal room in memory of her son, Sidney, class of 1941.

The annual pre-Harvard 1905 and 1906 dinner was held at the Algonquin Club, Boston, Friday night, October 23, 1959. The following '06 men were present; Randall Cooke, Oliver Cromwell and his son-in-law Dr. Hill, Roy Denison, Max Hartmann, just in from London, Nat Leverone, and his friend Rupert Robinson of Keene, N. H., Walt Powers, Norm Russell, and Harvey Whittemore. Also present were Roger Brown and Royal Parkinson of 1905.

Several of the boys wrote that they were sorry to miss the dinner but couldn't make it. As usual Harvey supplied those present with a white carnation from his greenhouses.

Our treasurer reports that as of October 25 fifty-eight members and three widows have paid their class dues.

Grace and Con Chellis are back in their winter quarters at 350 Ist St., North, St. Petersburg, Fla.
