The Dartmouth Club of Southeastern Massachusetts held their annual meeting at "The Cotillion Room" in Taunton, Mass., on the evening of October 19, 1959. Thirty one men were present. Samuel I. Stone '49 and MiltonE. Stone '47, proprietors of "The Cotillion Room," were excellent hosts and served a fine dinner.

Fletcher Clark '12 of Middleboro reported for the nominating committee the following slate for 1959-1960 and they were duly elected; President, Robert E. Leary '49 of Middleboro; Vice President, Henry S. Woods'36 of Marion; Vice President, Dr. Frank Lepreau '34 of Fall River; Secretary-Treasurer, C. Gardner Akin Jr. '23 of New Bedford; Representative to Executive Committee of the Boston Club, L. Francis Callan '23 of Middleboro; Directors, Samuel W. Crocker '31 of Wareham and Kenneth E. Sampson '31 of Brockton.

Edgar C. Earle Jr. '50, Chairman for Enrollment in the New Bedford Area, said a few words in behalf of encouraging boys in this section to go to Dartmouth, and asked for the help of all our members.

After the business meeting our retiring president, Samuel W. Crocker '31, introduced Mr. James Gowing, Director of Studies at Tabor Academy and a graduate of Amherst College. He gave a very interesting and informative talk on the subject of "College Admissions" and our members were glad to get the picture as seen from the preparatory school angle.
