The Dartmouth Club of Southeastern Massachusetts had a good turnout of 45 men for our annual meeting held at the Cotillion Room in Taunton on the evening of March 22. We also had as guests two undergraduates, John D. Ryder '62 and Daniel A. Paradis '61.

After a fine New England boiled dinner, President Robert E. Leary '49 called on John B. Kenerson '28, President of the Boston Alumni Association, for a few words.

Next came a short business meeting at which the following officers were elected for the 1962-1963 year: President, Kenneth E.Sampson '31 of Brockton; Vice Presidents, Luke F. Callan '23 of Middleboro and Gilbert E. Stokes '41 of Marion; SecretaryTreasurer, C. Gardner Akin Jr. '23 of New Bedford; Directors, Morrill S. Ryder Jr. '26 of Wareham and Edgar C. Earle Jr. '50 of So. Dartmouth; Representative to the Executive Com. of the Boston Club, Stanton W.Davis '30 of Brockton.

After the business meeting our new President. Kenneth Sampson '31, introduced our speaker from Hanover, Professor Allen R.Foley '20. He was exceedingly entertaining with his Vermont humor and then exceedingly interesting with an account of the present day "Changes, Competition, and Conscience" in Hanover. After hearing "Al" Foley's talk, and the question period that followed, we all knew why he is so popular with alumni groups and we think the College is fortunate to have such an ambassador to keep us up to date with what is going on in Hanover.
