Walter Rogers suffered a stroke at his home in St. Clair Shores, Mich., on November 9. He was shortly taken to the St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Mt. Clemens, where he died on December 13, 1958. His funeral services were held in Trinity Episcopal Church and there was a Masonic burial service at White Chapel by Jefferson Lodge #553 F & A M. Interment was in White Chapel Cemetery.

The facts of Walter's life will be found in the obituary column either this month or next. Of interest is the added item that, in his keen zest for the out-of-doors, he and a group of friends constructed in 1927 a hunting and fishing cabin on Little Blue Lake in Kalkaska County, a spot at that time almost uninhabited and inaccessible. He never failed to attend the opening of the trout and hunting seasons.

Henry Thrall's brave struggle against protracted and increasing physical infirmities came to an end with his death on January 4, 1959, at his home in Minneapolis. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Lakewood Cemetery, with burial in Lakewood, Minn. Greatly loved for his warm friendliness and admired for his forthright, strong personality, he will be sadly missed at our class gatherings which he delighted to attend with his devoted wife, Corinne.

Our deep sympathy goes to the wife and family of each of these men.

While I don't have the certification of C. C. Hills, I presume that our July reunion will take place Friday through Sunday noon on the tenth through the twelfth of that month. Those of you who have had experience of these delightful renewals of longstanding friendships will need no urging to be there. We hope that others who have not been regular in attendance will take advantage of this opportunity to spend a few quiet days in the delightful charm of Hanover with congenial friends.

It is not too early to call to your attention that next year marks our 55th from graduation, hard as it is to believe. It is greatly to be hoped that some of you who have rarely, if ever, attended a reunion, may make a real effort to be with us on this occasion. Need I remind you that it may be later than you think? Start now to make definite plans for 1960.

Late item - "Cy" White and Hilda are off for Los Angeles by air in February.
