The '57 train is off again. Welcome aboard. The first stop will be the great number of marriages that have happily happened in the recent past. Miss Marjorie Pierson was married to Ensign now Lt. The second stop on this train of events is the business world. Ron Roth and Len Johnson are living in the mecca of the west, Hollywood, where Ron, after working for NBC for a while, is now an assistant to the vice president of Screen Gems, the TV subsidiary of Columbia Pictures, and an associate producer. If you all are dissatisfied with the TV movies now you know to whom you can write to get better pictures. Bob Hamilton, who is living in Albany, N. Y., is engaged to Miss Elizabeth Worrell, sister of Rick Worrell '56. Bob met Herb Young during a holiday cocktail party and mentions that Pete Powers is in Germany with the Army while Steve Hibbs and Ted Everett are helping keep the Air Force alert.

Bob Richmond states:

Unknown sources have reported that after a flying trip to California, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Prasch are settled at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. Pvt. Bill Woodbury is here at Ft. Meyer and doing some sort of work at the Pentagon. Larry Gardner and Mrs. are living in Alexandria. At last word Larry was working for Senator Cot- ton in the morning and going to Law School in the evening. Skip Traynham is also in Alexandria, at Virginia Theological Seminary. Jim Smith is resigned to a term in the Army and is awaiting the call. 2nd Lt. Chris Wren has returned from a year of study and mountain climbing in Europe to do push-ups for the Army at Ft. Benning. Wally Ackley is working for an auditing firm in Boston and was here for a week doing some work for the government. Bill Fiero is in Wyoming, completing his Master's in Geology. In September Bob Dennis married Miss Barbara Zimmerman and is now living in Baltimore working on his Doctorate at Johns Hopkins.

On July 24, I started with the Foreign Service and was presented with a daughter, Helen Leas. Never have the corridors of Washington been paced so fiercely. I am now engaged in an intensive German course which will terminate in February. I will be working for the Economic Defense Division of International Resources for 18 months before going overseas.

Officially Bob is a Vice Consul and a Secretary in the Diplomatic Service certainly worthy of this month's BMOC Award.

To you all congratulations and regards.

Skip.
