All classmates will regret to know Nat Dodge and Tom Quinn are no longer with us. In Memoriam notices report the sad news in more detail.

It is never too late to report the good news that two class sons received degrees at Commencement last June. Harry and MargaretBruckner saw son Harry Jr. receive his degree from the College and Walt and DorisSands saw Robert '59 awarded his M.B.A. from Tuck School.

Looking spry enough to be approaching his fortieth birthday, John D. Dodd was pictured some time ago by the New York Herald Tribune. With the caption "Push Button Service" Jack, Vice President of the New York Telephone Company, was shown with the chairman of the Irving Trust Company watching the operation of one of the new pushbutton switchboards at the bank's headquarters. And thanks to Ned Redman '06 for sending along the picture.

A most pleasant prelude to the Harvard contest was the goodly gathering of pregame quarterbacks who thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Carroll and Nan Dwight. The play callers consisted of Gray and Dorothy Bates, Bill and Odie Lee Bullen, Bob and Grace Clark, Haskell and Harriett Cohn, Carl and Maggie Davis with daughter Lisa and escort, Peter '54 and Pat Dwight, Susan Dwight, Wellesley '63, Alie Hoyt, Fran and Lucy Leland, Len and Margaret Morrissey, Walt and Doris Sands, Dr. Dick and Dot Stetson.

Scouts at the distasteful dish in New Haven report a loyal group of Twoters at the game; Chick Busher, Ed and Marian Lane, Al and Mary Lyon, Andy and Charlotte Marshall, Dr. Ed and Joan Pullen, Ray and Mary Rambach, Dr. Ted and Beth Robie, Jack and Sylvia Taylor, Bud and Barbara Winkler, and Dick Willis. Did our scouts miss somebody? Well, with old fashioned bifocals it's not easy to look through binoculars.

Wait till next year was obviously the theme after the Yale game when a gathering of hopeful Green Indians fully enjoyed the hospitality of Bob and Grace Clark at their delightful Hawleyville home. The braves and squaws were Bill and Odie Lee Bullen, Frank and Betty Horan, Carter, Alie, and daughter Nancy Hoyt, Fran and Lucy Leland, Stan and Catherine Miner. Better luck next year - the game, that is, not the Clarks' hospitality.

Our athletic clergyman, Rev. Hiram B. Crosby prognosticates football scores par excellence. From Herald Enterprise Publications of Long Beach, Calif., comes a complete compendium of "Bing's" early autumn football predictions. This good classmate certainly knows his football nationally and sectionally, collegiate and professional. And now that the season is over, his predictions can be checked and found to have a very high degree of accuracy. As president of the Long Beach Recreation Commission, "Bing" attended the International Convention of Recreation Commissioners in Washington, D. C., last September. While in the east he, of course, went back to Hanover, saw the Penn game, and saw the Brown game in Providence. "Bing," what does the crystal ball show for the Big Green in 1961?

"If only someone had told me . .familiar words, they are sometimes used by good Twoters to deplore that if they knew far enough in advance the dates of our annual Little Reunion in Hanover each spring they would be there. April 28 and April 29 are the dates for 1961. Miss Carey of the Hanover Inn writes "It will be nice to have you all back at The Inn." And that "you all" includes you, Dr. Norm Crane.

Never underestimate the executive ability of a loyal Twoter. Read what Forbes Magazine, October 1, says about the management skill of Modie Spiegel. Reporting that Spiegel expects to increase earnings this year, Forbes adds "That would make Spiegel one of the few big retailers to show a year to year earnings gain." No, comrades, electronics are not all.

Parker Meade included very best regards to all classmates in an appreciated letter helpfully furnishing requested information concerning a deceased classmate. Busily engaged in the mortgage loan business in La Jolla, Calif., Parker lives at 4143 Sunset Road, Mission Hills, San Diego. The welcome mat is out for any Twoters who stray that way. Thanks, again Parker.

With the marriage of Lt. Frank Edgar Sands II '58, son of Walt and Doris, to Miss Victoria Leigh Sanders the young bride is welcomed into our class family. The autumn wedding took place at Rock Springs Congregational Church, Arlington, Va. Lt. Robert G. Sands '59 was the best man for his brother. The bride attended Colby College and the Sorbonne. Frank graduated from Naval Officers Candidate School, Newport, and is now assigned to the Pentagon. A lifetime of happiness to the newlyweds.
