Chuck Hall dropped us a note from Cleveland just too late to be included in the June issue. He and Lee celebrated their twentyfifth by taking a West Indies cruise on the "Empress of England." Chuck's older boy, Jerry, completed his first year in seminary at Bexley Hall and spent the summer in hospital clinical training at Fulton, Mo. Tom, the younger boy, was scheduled to attend either Denison or Bowling Green College this fall. Chuck says that he and Lee never fail to make the Cornell game at Ithaca and are looking forward to seeing some of you there the next time around.
Enclosed with Chuck's note was an interesting profile clipped from the Cleveland Plain Dealer concerning another original Clevelander, Franklyn Marks. Now living in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with his wife and two daughters, Frank is composer-arranger for Walt Disney Studios. He went with Disney five years ago after recovering from a heart attack, and his brilliant compositions and orchestrations have figured in a number of highly successful productions. Most recently he completed the score for "The Parent Trap" and is now at work on the orchestration of "Babes in Toyland."
Frank was formerly pianist-arranger for Paul Laval's Basin Street program at NBC. He also did orchestrations for Dinah Shore and Eddie Cantor. His musical career in Hollywood has included association with many name bands such' as Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Cookie Fairchild, Red Nichols and Stan Kenton.

By the time you read this our third fall reunion at Bonnie Oaks will probably be a matter of history, and at present your correspondent can only speculate as to the increasing popularity of this pleasant custom. Perhaps it is not too early to set our sights on the next regular reunion of our Class in 1963.
