Mr. Griswold served as Chairman of a seminar on Capital Expenditures conducted by the American Management Association, New York City, December 12-15, 1960. While in New York he also attended the Banking Career Day of the Reserve City Bankers Association.

In the November-December, 1960 issue of Personnel, published by the American Management Association, Mr. Guest reviewed the book "Blue Collar Man" by Father TheodoreV. Purcell D'33. A review by Mr. Guest of Mann and Hoffman's book "Automation and the Worker" appeared in the December 1960 issue of the Administrative Science Quarterly.
Father Purcell served as a discussant with the panel on "Some Economic Problems of the '60s: The Labor Market" at the Allied Social Science Association's annual meetings, held in St. Louis, December 27-30, 1960.
Mr. Morrissey spoke on "The Role of the Accountant in Financial Planning and Control" at the annual meeting of the Northeast Regional Group, American Accounting Association, held at M.I.T.
Charlie Biddle '20 continues to enjoy his retirement from the First National City Bank of New York, spending most of his time in Spain; Al Frey T'21 served as leader of a seminar on promotion as a part of an international seminar on marketing, cosponsored by the European Productivity Agency and the Indiana University School of Business on February 15. Al also was a panel-speaker on the Institute for Marketing Communications, as part of the Annual Forecasting Conference sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia, January 5, as well as at the Eighth Annual Marketing for Management Seminar, presented by the Toronto Chapter, American Marketing Association, January 6, 1961.

H., as analyst in the controller's department; IraSchattman T'57 has been appointed assistant to the president of Standard Foods Corp.; Neil Levenson T'57 has opened a retail shop specializing in gift items at 39th Street and 5th Avenue, New York City. The shop name is "Tis the Season."

Bishop agency of John Hancock Mutual Life, Waltham, Mass.; Al Fraser T'60 has announced his engagement to Beverly Ann White of Leominster, Mass.; Tim Tyler T'60 was married in November 1960 to Marjorie Jane Stegeman of Cincinnati, Ohio, and they are now residing at Ft. Knox, Kentucky.
