Dean Hill attended the annual meeting of the New England Deans of Collegiate Schools of Business held at the University of Rhode Island, October 17-18.

In July Mr. Hennessey participated in Dartmouth's executive development course in liberal arts for National Association of Mutual Savings Banks. He spent the summer months completing field work of Public Health Service project in hospital administration with Mr. Olsen (program coordinator), Mr. Moss (project director), Mr.Broehl, and Mr. Guest.

Mr. Guest directed a* two-day seminar on Implementing Organization Changes at the University of Michigan, September 26-27, for a group of 30 executives from the Mid-western states. He was also the recipient of the Organization Development Council Annual Award for the outstanding book of the year on organization and administration.

Mr. Woodworth and Mr. Bower participated in the Vermont-New Hampshire Bankers Association meeting held at Tuck, September 8-12.

Mr. Mayer was a Ford Foundation Fellow at the Faculty Workshop in Quantitative Methods for Management held at Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, July 14 to August 9.

Steve Roth T'63 has remained at Tuck as research assistant with Mr. Moss in Business Policy. They are developing course materials and field research studies in the areas of the impact of mergers on corporate strategy and internal administration, and the effects of geographical separation on over-all administration.

John Ohlinger T'39 (Lt. Col.) has been appointed commander of the 2491st Air Force Reserve. Sector at Grenier Field, Manchester, N. H.

The newly-created position of central area sales manager for the Spencer Kellogg Division of Textron has been assigned to John Cowan T'40.

Harry Gustafson T'46 has been appointed manager for the bakery division of H. A. Johnson Co., Boston.

Dick Fitzgerald T'49 has been promoted to partnership in Price Waterhouse and Co., New York City.

Dud Nearing T'49, comptroller of Reichhold Chemicals, has been elected to the board of directors.

Dick Menin T'50 received the Vanguard Award of the New England Mutual Life Insurance Co.

Mat Weinberg T'55 is a member of the firm of Lowenthal, Lowenthal, Weinberg and Jacobson, San Francisco.

Walt Barker T'58 has been named assistant controller and business manager at the Wesson Memorial Hospital, Framingham, Mass.

Bill Hutchens T'58 has been promoted by Price Waterhouse and Co., New York City, to manager's level.

Glen French T'59 has been promoted to the newly-created position of sales training manager for American Hospital Supply Corporation, Evanston, Ill.

Win Giles T's9 has been appointed brokerage consultant in the general agency department of the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co.

Hal Klein T'60 served as a member of the faculty for the summer session at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas, teaching Managerial Economics.

Dick Clarey T'63 has been appointed to the faculty at Colby College, Waterville, Me., to serve in the business administration department.
