Literary giants have been known to describe silence in terms of gently falling snow. They can now liken such quietude to the 1950 class scribe's typewriter and be just about as accurate. We got so utterly noiseless on our noiseless that last month's deadline came and went with nary a piece of news to note. Perhaps it will have the effect of bestirring one or two wanderers to pick up the telephone whilst ensconced at a motel and find out what happened to that long unheard of roomie ... following which a hastily scribbled postal to the address above will get us back on the track. Apologies to one and all for the lack of words last time, and for the few strung out below. Hope we hear from YOU before May Day!
GRAPEVINE REPORTS
Since nearly a year has elapsed since any '50 injuns got engaged and many moons have risen without a new wedding, we skip along to the miscellany. Warm bodies will be turned up in profusion around the Windy City by the time these comments are published since the Green groaners warble here the middle of March. Si Morand "volunteered" to dispense tickets and Merrill Lynch may be wondering how his prospect list turned so hot so quick. One of the attendees will be Herb Ray just back bronze and broke from a two weeks' sail in the Caribbean. We'll try to recognize the rest of the crew for you next month.
Hope this isn't an unauthorized disclosure, but NBC's Don Hyatt says they are following up the wonderful "Ragtime Years" program with a Paul Whiteman show called "Music of the Thirties." Will be seen next fall, and as Don put it, those were our years! Remember?

We're wondering if Jerry and his family plan a return to the New York area?

By now most 50's within as many miles of Grand Central Terminal have been alerted to the bright prospects of seeing one another at 5:30 p.m. on that Tuesday eve. If you're planning a trip that way, you might give a clue to one of the committeemen. Ech is at Macy's or home at 1235 Park Avenue, N. Y. C. 28. And you might see yourself in last June's reunion movies!
