After winning their first four out of five games, the little Green basketball team proceeded to lose five straight to Harvard, Vt. Academy, Boston University, Holy Cross and St. Michael's. In their most recent outing the freshmen whipped Vermont, 77-62. Pete Coker continues to dominate the scoring for the '65s.
The freshman hockey team has improved its record, winning four out of its last five encounters. Most recent victims included Belmont (Mass.) High School 7-1, Boston University 9-6, K.U.A. 3-0 and New Hampshire, 8-5. During Carnival Weekend the freshmen were beaten by Harvard, 3-2.
The freshman swimming team after winning three matches in a row was finally beaten by Deerfield, 54-41. Victories were registered against Springfield 53-41, Andover 53-42, and Portland Boys School, 54-41.
The '65 wrestling team is two and two after four matches. The freshmen toppled Tufts 33-5 and Massachusetts 21-9, while losing to Wesleyan 15-11 and Springfield, 28-8. Elsewhere the freshman track team stands 3-3 for the season. The Harvard freshmen defeated the '65s, 63-45, and Yale did the same, 66-38. On the plus side the little Indians have wins over Andover 62½-36½ and Maine, 59 1/3-41 1/3.
