My sincere thanks are hereby expressed to Arthur W. Chapin for taking over my job while I was having a restful vacation on a cargo ship.

Warner White is back at 42 West Chester Street, Nantucket, with the definite intention of staying retired this time.

The Class will be sorry to hear that Maribelle Pratt died on January 8 after a lingering illness of over four years. Elon writes that his weight is now down to 167 pounds.

Bernice Ayers writes that she appreciated very much the letter of sympathy sent by the class at the time of Gus's death. After almost 53 years of married life she says it is very lonesome without him.

On the occasion of his 80th birthday George Boynton was honored by a card shower and an Open House. George was born in Hillsboro, N. H„ and has spent his entire life there. His record of service to the public is outstanding as he was the town moderator for many years, a selectman, member of the School Board, representative of the General Court for ten consecutive terms, State Senator, chairman of the local water board and the Town Republican Committee.

By the time you read this column the 1962 Alumni Fund will be in full swing. The goal this year is the largest ever so all of us must give the size of our gift the most thoughtful consideration.
