The beginning of a new football season was well received on Long Island. At our pre-Dartmouth night celebration on October 2, thanks to the help of Warren Kreter '42 and Dick Kulp '59, we watched the best action of last year. The Association is also planning to load as many busses as necessary to transport L.I.'ers to the Columbia game (where we will have a block of seats) and back to the victory cocktail party. FrankFaruolo '42 is arranging the football pilgrimage.

Although it will probably be history by the time this becomes print, John Cornehlson '29 is setting up a dinner for the local high school guidance people. Ed Chamberlain '36 is coming down to talk to them and to our enrollment workers.

The regular meeting in December will be held in the Huntington area. It will be an optional dinner and meeting to follow. Watch the mails for details on the meeting and make a special effort to attend. President Mike Pender '48 told us about plans for a Dartmouth day at the Worlds Fair in May. Plans remain to be made firm, but we are hoping President Dickey will be down and possibly the band. More details about this at a later time.

Other plans for the year include possibilities of a theater party at the Mineola Playhouse, a Skin Diving Film from Stan Waterman '46, and a Scholarship Dance. We are also planning our annual Beach Party and the Freshman Party in April. Of course, we would like to see more people at our monthly meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month. The location of the meeting is dynamic, so watch the mails for the place.
