The Dartmouth Rugby Club's A team did not take its usual spring vacation trip this year and as a result is not quite up to its usual form. In the one game played to date, the ruggers were defeated by Harvard 13-0. After a 0-0 first half, the lack of conditioning began to tell as the Crimson moved out in front.

In addition to the lack of practice and competition, the Indians also went into the Harvard match minus two key players: Don Burris and Tom Campion. Both are expected to return within a few weeks.

The scrum this spring consists of Tom Rucker at hooker, Steve Lasch, Bill Blumenschein, Bob Lunden, Pete Funke, and Terry Bentley. In the backfield, Captain Jack Huber is at scrum half, with Dick Harrow at standoff, Gary Moore at first center, and Howard Dobbs at second center. Bill Warrick and Dick Heimovics are the wings and Bill Lawliss is at fullback.
