Mr. Davis gave a talk on "Agency-Advertiser Working Relationships" at the annual meeting of the Association of National Advertisers, and served as chairman of a panel on the teaching of introductory marketing courses at the American Marketing Association annual meetings in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Olsen attended the sixth congress on administration, conducted by the American College of Hospital Administrators, in Chicago, January 31-February 2. Also, on invitation of the president of the University of Florida, he attended a special conference of twelve educators, administrators, hospital and health experts to review university programs of education for hospital administration, at Gainesville, Florida.
Recent visiting lecturers have included: E. Haskin Schell, M.D., assistant medical director of the College health service, who met with the administration class to discuss the case material under consideration from a psychiatric point of view; Charles J. Chapman D'33, vice-president of National Carbon Company, Union Carbide Corporation, who met with the sales management class during his recruiting visit to Tuck on January 21; Edward D. Gruen D'31, chief of paper, printing, and publishing industry division, Bureau of Census, U. S. Department of Commerce, who met with the case analysis and written expression class on January 24 to discuss the economic census data processing in general and the "Providencia Case Study for Latin America," in particular.
