PRESIDENT OF CABMA

At its recent meeting in Los Angeles, the College Athletic Business Managers Association elected Irving F. (Snuffy) Smith '4l president. He is the first man from an eastern college to hold this position.

After graduation from Dartmouth, Smith served as a pilot in World War II for A½ years, about half of his duty overseas. He then returned to work at Dartmouth where he is now Associate Director of Athletics and Business Manager of the DCAC.

In 1959-60 he worked as Assistant Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference and is now chairman of the Accelerated Program Committee of the ECAC.
