One more building, the Charles Gilman Life Sciences Laboratory, was added officially to the Gilman Biomedical Center with its dedication on October 30. The program consisted of morning and afternoon scientific sessions, with the dedicatory exercises and luncheon at noon. Representatives of the biological science departments of several leading colleges and universities attended the opening of this fine structure which is physically connected to the Medical Science Building, the Kellogg Medical Auditorium, and the Dana Biomedical Library.

Among recent lectures delivered at the School, two of the featured visiting speakers were returning home.
