K Bryant's good wife Florence in reply to the card asking for news came up with a real human interest story which included their children and grandchildren. Your secretary regrets that the interesting part about the grandchildren had to be omitted due to lack of space. Part of the remainder follows: "We are still living in Wellesley to be near our two daughters. We are about as we should be in our 85th year, moderately sedate, take an occasional cocktail. I, Florence, am about to face my second cataract operation and can sympathize with JohnnyWard.

"Our chief hobbies are our fourteen grandchildren. Following them growing up, their school and college and love affairs and marriages. Walter '34 and his wife, Smith '33, have five children. Jane, Sweet Briar '35 and her husband, Stewart Hurlburt, Amherst '35, have four children. Annette, Wells '40, and her husband, Dr. Emerson, Princeton '33, Harvard Medical '37, have five children. So you see with our children and busy life and the fourteen young people, our minds are well occupied.

"George Sampson still goes to his office in Boston. His daughter works here at the Babson Records office. I guess this is my story."

In September Helen P. Halliday, widow of Col. Frank Halliday, returned to Florida from a summer in Maine and Baltsville, Md., where her grandson Malcolm Frank and family live. Her new address is Loch Lamond Drive, Winter Park, Fla. She is active in church work and garden club. Malcolm graduated from Dartmouth in '59 and her son in 1928 and great-grandson, Malcolm Konrad will be in the '70s, she hopes.

Word from Jim Clark is that he is living in the old home place with his daughter.

In response to my card asking for news Gardy Cobb reports he is living at the old Cobb Homestead in Stratford, Vt., returning there last June after spending the winter in Holden, Mass. He says his general health is good but he is having difficulty in walking. His constant companion is a Sheltie which he has had for thirteen years, her name is "Lady." He has a family of four living with him who sees to his wants and needs. He has been on some long rides, attended Rotary meetings and directors' meetings of Camp Billings of which he was one of the founders.

His hobbies include crossword puzzles, reading the Morgan horse magazine, and many other periodicals. Many of his old friends drop in to visit with him and talk about the old days. In 1962 he was the recipient of a fifty-year membership award presented at the 181st annual meeting of the Massachusetts Medical Society at the Hotel Statler in Boston. Hats off to Gardner N. Cobb, M.D., for this fifty-year record.

Elsie and Frank extend thanks for the many Christmas cards received.

It is with regret that the 1901 items again close with sad news. Your secretary had word that Ralph W. Dunsmore died four years ago in Zephyrshills, Fla. He is endeavoring to obtain more information. Frederick E. Pierce died on December 24, 1963 in Bangor, Me. An In Memoriam will appear in a later issue.
