With February chill in the air, here's a cniiole post-mortem football echoes to conjure with. Carl Whitely's forecast of a Dodger four-straight victory has a slight sequel in my wife's intuitive call of the final Dartmouth-Princeton score last November. With the Green trailing 21 to 7, and vour scribe morosely glaring at the radio's sad news, she confidently proclaimed the final 22 to 21 score. Is it any wonder that I salaamed all over the place every time she entered the room thereafter? And then comes the Army-Navy game denouement with the potential deciding score lined up on the Navy goal line, Army allows time to run out! Unfortunately, my wife wasn't around to save that one. (It is apparent my Army loyalty wasn't strong enough!)
Astrojetting out of Chicago after the Christmas holidays, our plane was delayed two hours in takeoff. Finally airborne, the dulcet tones of the stewardess over the loudspeaker commented: "Well, if you were going by train, you'd only be at Detroit by now!" Pretty good salesmanship — what!
Ken Macpherson, out of Rochester, N. Y., surprises with a sparkling Thanksgiving Day "Hello" card. Thanks, Ken.
We are saddened by the passing of "Farmer" Howland at Portland, Me. As AICleveland puts it — "He was a good guy and a good Dartmouth man."
And of the sad event at Dallas, hid Craw- ford just about expresses the feelings of us all — "shock, disbelief and anger."
The Jack Fergusons headed over the road for California and Oregon in December aiming to see their Marine grandson at Camp Pendleton and bolster his efforts to stand off the competition of other Marines for a berth on the Olympic track team.
Sammy Sanborn about decided to retire a couple years ago, when a trip to Japan popped up, and then another one, each of several weeks' duration. He's quite struck with that country where industry is booming, yet charm and graciousness still prevail among the people. He was also brought up to date on his geography, learning that Tokyo is the world's largest city with a population of 10,400,000 as of last fall. New York's just a hamlet, eh Sammy?
Elliot Sharp's chinchillas hit the jackpot at their fall Branch Show with the Grand Show Champion, a Class Champion, and several blue ribbons, in Massachusetts. And out in Indiana, Art Ford's daughter, Dr. Lee Ford, is producing top-flight Companion Collies for the benefit of mankind. Would there be any other '15ers engaged in the prolific rearing of four-footed animals, or similar, in the interests of humanity? Vocation, or avocation, it would seem to be a most interesting pursuit of happiness! Elliot says they are looking forward to our 50th in 1965 (hey — that's next year)! How about you, Art?
George Martin, heading up New England's Leading Farmers' Supply House for over 50 years, says they've had one of their best years in a long time, and that he is busy as a paperhanger, buttoning up for the annual trek to Coral Gables for a few weeks' sojourn in the land of sun and warmth. George did sandwich in a couple weekends in Hanover, as well as the Princeton game with the Kike Richardsons, and he and Mae are looking forward to renewing old acquaintances down Florida way. Have fun!
Howie Fuller, having wound up a career in the interests of various veterans organizations, was admitted to law practice in Federal Court in October. He and Adeline were planning a trip around the world from mid-January to mid-April on the steamer Kungsholm — a vacation this time.

Muriel labels our Interim Reunion "a delightful experience." (Mark your calendars now for the big 50th coming up in 1965!)
And so - Leap Year marches on!
