And now—April! Re-capping of news from classmates is a real challenge. If occasional repetition creeps in, lay it to a slight over-conscientiousness on the part of your Class Secretary! As George Martin puts it: "In case of repetition, please excuse it."

Kike Richardson's pre-game parties have been going on for some forty years and he refuses to call them off regardless of the fall-off in attendance. Which is no indication of their lack of popularity. Kike was scheduled to start on his fishing peerade early in February. And his good wife, Pearl, helps carry the load.

Dale and Bess Barker report everything OK. They talk to Pearl Richardson nearly every day and to George Martin two or three times a week. Eben Clough says he's OK and Margie much improved and gaining weight. Carl Gish phones in thanks for recent letters and reports AOK (even at 9 P.M.!) A phone from BobFredericks says everything is "Kosher" in their bailiwick and indulged in a bit of phone chatter with this scribe. Marv.Frederick phoned for info on how to reach Speed Granger—which we were able to supply—and revealed that Speed received a citation for Merit Service as an "attending associate physician at the Brooklyn Hospital." Marv. and his good wife, Marian, were taking a two-month trip to Hawaii, expecting to be back by April 1. HerbPotter, recuperating from a prostate operation, bemoans having to "go on the wagon but agrees that means all the more" for the rest of us. He even offers free board, room, and drinks to this scribe and wife, should we get down to El Paso (which is worth thinking about!).

Tex Doe flew down to Florida along in February and, at last report, was up and around OK. Nut Norwood reports he is up and around and quite cheerful. DickMerrill is enjoying retirement and DickWyman reports all is OK with him. BushCampbell is a lot better but finding it a bit difficult to get used to retirement. Chanand Dot Foster get out to the Country Club now and then and do a lot of baby-sitting for their daughter who is working for Chan's old firm.

George Martin comes up with some commendatory remarks about this scribe's job performance on this column and wonders if some classmates are "paying me off under the table!" If that were so, George would owe me plenty!

I haven't counted 'em up yet, but have a hunch this column's words have reached their space limit. With which we'll "call it a day." Cheerio everybody!
