Hello, once again. Hope all had a summer full of good time and good fortune. The McBurneys are all settled in the Chicago area and enjoying it very much. Of course, it's just my luck to move out of . Minnesota when the Twins are on their way to winning the pennant.

I used to think that I led a fairly exciting and interesting life, until I started receiving letters this past summer from some of our classmates who are really moving about the world and doing rather wild things. For instance, Art Hill is now in Japan in the Navy and spending his spare time whizzing around in those 115 MPH bullet trains, getting lost in downtown Tokyo or planning trips to Thailand. He'll be back in 1967. George and Linda Rodgers are living in Glattbrugg (suburb of Zurich), Switzerland, while George has been doing post doctorate research in organic chemistry on an NATO Fellowship. Tom Kirby married Germaine de Saint Andre in Lausanne, Switzerland last January, and their honeymoon was spent in Lisbon and Madeira. The Kirbys are now living in plain old Garden City, Long Island and Tom is working with his dad and brother in the textile business. Ed Henriquez is living in Panama and working in a family business. Ed and Anita spent several months in the States this last summer.

Jim Graham (Moose), wife Ginny, and daughter Carolyn are now in, or on their way to, Europe. Jim spent the summer at Michigan State studying Swahili. After research on the Continent, they'll go to Tanzania for 10 months where he will interview people to get their life histories. The purpose of all his travels is a dissertation he's writing regarding "Changing Socio-EconomicT Patterns in a District of the Southern Highland Province in Tanzania - A History." Wonder what he'll do for an encore? His efforts are being supported by the Ford Foundation. Art Pritchard and his wife had a rather different vacation in April. They, along with another couple, rented a small plane and island hopped around the Bahamas. Between his flying vacations, Art works for Arthur D. Little, Inc., Consultants, in Boston. Denny and Laura Beth Goodman spent the summer in Mexico.

Andy Paul sent a note telling of his activities these past five years. After a stay in the Army, Andy was an international trade assistant with the U.S. Department of Commerce. During 1964 he traveled with Barry Goldwater as a member of the campaign staff. That wasn't too permanent, so now he's an assistant to the Director of the National Housing Center and living in Arlington, Va. Dick Phillips will be spending this year at the University of Pennsylvania as a candidate for a Ph.D. in Marketing. Dick was married June 27 to Nancy Katz in Scranton, Pa.

News out of South Hadley, Mass., tells of many honors for Bob Colyer. Bob is an English teacher at South Hadley High School and was recently named president of the South Hadley Education Association for 1965-66. Bob is also school swimming coach and the VP of the local Dartmouth Club.

Dick Davidson writes that he is now a systems engineer with IBM's Newark office. DICK; and Arlene have two daughters and are living in Matawan, N. J. Pete Holland, complete with wife and three kids, has moved to Hanover where Pete will be the freshman crew coach. John Mitchell has left Ernst and Ernst (CPA firm) and is now manager, International General Accounting, tor the Univac Division of Sperry Rand in New York City.

Ryan and Gretchen Ostebo stopped by our house a week or so back. They were on their way east, after Oz received his Master's in History from the University of Minnesota. They'll be at the Mill brook School near Poughkeepsie.

A quick reminder before I end this trivia. June 17-19 are the dates for our class reunion. I just received a leuer from WayneGivens outlining the activities that have been planned. Believe me, there are kicks in store for all those who attend. So, save the dates, get up a group from your area, volunteer to help, resolve that you shall be there, and count on having one fine time with your old buddies that you haven't seen for five years.
