Again, marriages dominate the news as our classmates continue to take the big step. So here we go with the facts and figures. Owen Dow, who is at Tufts Medical School, married Judith Anne Nelson back on August 19. Other summer weddings included Hal Burdge to Sandra Garrard on August 5, Dick Prior to Sue Parker on August 19, Don Landzettel to Gail Newman on August 19, Don Weitzman to Harriet Shames on August 26, and Marty Weiss to Debora Rosenthal on August 20.

Larry is working for the U. S. Geological Survey. Skip Snyder and his new wife (Sandra Page) are living near Williamsburg, Va., where Skip is in the Army. Dune Knapp was married to Linda Haist on September 30, and is now at Ft. Benning, Ga.

A letter from Gene Kohn tells of the '60's who are in and around New York City. A number of the boys got together for the opening of the new Dartmouth Club at the Commodore Hotel and for a tribute to Nelson Rockefeller on October 15. Among those attending were Andy Nighswander and Bruce Ducker who are both at Columbia Law. Also studying there are Don Weitzman, Paul Cantor, Jon Halverson and Russ Brooks. Al Friedman is studying at N.Y.U. Law. Not everyone in N. Y. is going to school though. Tim Holland, Gene Kohn,Jeff Fine and Lou Purello were at Grey Advertising. (The past tense only applies to Lou and Jeff who are now with Uncle Sam.) Jim Johnson is also in advertising, with Ogilvy, Benson and Mathers. AlexGrabowsky is selling for the Kendall Company, and I guess that's all the news from our nation's largest city.

Paul Suerken broke away from a party one night in October and dropped a line. He's at Michigan doing graduate work and has just become engaged to Elizabeth Lichty of Ann Arbor. Also at Michigan is RickGuilford, who is in law school. Lars Lofgren writes that he and his wife Mary are now in Minneapolis. Lars is a salesman for Simmons Co. Tom Huyck and wife Margaret are in Chicago while Tom is at Chicago Law. The Huycks were married last June 24. Shelly Gisser, George Bruder and George Liebman are also at Chicago Law.

Brown weekend brought many alums back to Hanover. I was awakened from deep slumber of the Friday night by DennyGoodman and Hap Dunning. Beers were opened and we shot the bull for quite awhile. Hap is at Harvard Law and Denny is managing a retail furniture store in Cleveland. Saturday, Dave Chevrier came up from Newton-Andover Theological Seminary. Mike McGinnes broke away from Harvard Law to come and sit through a wet football game. Dave Hiley and Dave Harrison were both up. The former Dave is now in Hartford and about to go into the Army and the latter Dave is with J. C. Penney in New York. Both Daves have three children.

Here's a few more weddings before we sign off for this month. Dennis Shea and Claire Finnegan were married on September 3. They are in Philadelphia where Dennis is going to Wharton. Bill Danforth married Joanne Carol Mayer on September 23. Bill and wife are in Jacksonville, Fla., with the Navy. Al Shons and Mary Misamore were married on August 5. Charlie Butler and Donna Riccinto were married on August 5 and are now in Philadelphia. Charlie is an accountant for General Electric.

Well, that should do it. Next issue this column will feature results of the class boy contest and other exciting news of your classmates.
