The D.C. of W. held its annual meeting on September 9 at the Bronxville Field Club. Honored, as is our custom, were the Westchester members of the entering class of '69 and their fathers - 30 guests all told, including one dead-game Harvard '35 father. Guests were introduced, and their secondary school records cited, by Art Allen '32, our National Enrollment Committeeman.
Among the nearly 80 attendees was former Westchester Congressman Bob Barry '37. We were treated to the TV pilot film, "Pops Goes to College," featuring Paul Whiteman, some high-class Dartmouth undergraduate musical talent, and some gorgeous color photography of the Hanover scene; and our speaker of the evening was Seaver Peters '54, Associate Director of Athletics, all of whose football predictions we hope have come true by the time we read this.
After retiring President Warren Flynn '38 turned the gavel over to his successor, OilyQuayle '42, we ended with "Men of Dartmouth" led by former Glee Clubber DickWelty '61. Tom Schwarz '57 is our new vice-president and treasurer; and appointed to the Board of Governors for the 1965-'68 term were Warren Agry '45, Charles Cleveland '45, Joel Einhorn '58, Win Hobbs '33, and Dave Metz '54.
