The Informal Class Reunion held in Hanover on October 8, the weekend of the Penn game, was a decided success. Sixty- three attended dinner on Friday and 88 on Saturday. This included forty Classmates and their respective wives, children and friends. The Classmates were: Bill Andres, Herb Ball, Dick Barrett, Dick Black, Trunkie Brittan, Buck Bulkley, Bern Burnham, Bing Carter, John Cook, Al Cooley, John Cornehlsen, Gene Davis, John Dearth, John Dickey, Al Downing, Charles Dudley, Phil Fitzpatrick, Panos George, Jack Gunther, Moe Heath, Ray Hedger, Jack Hubbard, Red Kennedy, Dan Marx, Tom Maynard, Bill McCaw, Karl Michael, Frank Middleton, Bob Monahan, John Moxon, Art Nighs-wander, Nick Panoras, Squeek Redding, Heinie Richardson, Noel Salomon, Henry Schutte, Cart Strickland, Millard Tucker, Eke Walsh and Paul Woodbridge. TruitkieBrittan did a wonderful job of arranging the entire weekend. ...

This letter received from Jack Blair: "I have received from Hanover a beautiful silver plate engraved with the Dartmouth Seal and 'With Appreciation to John C. Blair Class of 1929, June 1964.' I am proud and send my deepest thanks to 1929." ... Sherra Little scribbles that he has sent his fourth child (second girl) off to college this fall. That Charles, Class of '62, is back from Ankara, Turkey and about to resume his college education on the West Coast. Patty (oldest daughter), husband and grand-daughter live in Buffalo where his son-in-law teaches at University of Buffalo. Ben, second boy, is working for a year. Barbara, 16, is a junior at San Marino High School and Martha (wife) responsible for AFS Programs in Senior high schools. ...

We heard from the grapevine that RayTalbott won the individual club championship of the Stamford Bridge Club in a field of eighty contestants. ... Bob Monahan, Dartmouth College Forester, suggests how you hold 400-pound bears in a recent article in the Hanover Gazette! ... Dud Orr was principal speaker at a meeting of the New Hampshire Retired Teachers Association. ... Governor John W. King proclaimed October 24 as United Nations Day in New Hampshire, and named John Dickey Chairman of the New Hampshire United Nations Day Committee. ...

At a recent meeting of the New Hampshire Manufacturers Association, one of the main speakers was Ben Stacey, well-known Boston banker. Ben was bullish about the fourth quarter of 1965. ...Your correspondent spent a very pleasant evening with Noel Salomon and our respective wives on the eve of the Penn game, and had a delicious Sunday brunch at the Paul Woodbridges' castle. Panos George and John Cornehlsen also were in evidence.
