Don served as a Marine Corps pilot during World War II. He and lane have seven children.

Plans are progressing at a steady pace for the 25th reunion with recent meetings in New York and elsewhere. For a family of non-smokers, my supply of '42 matches has dwindled rapidly. They must be something of a status symbol hereabouts!

The sad news of the untimely passing of John Wyper's wife Betsy (Dick) is entered here with heartfelt regret. Our sincere sympathy is extended to John. He and Betsy had so recently joined together in matrimony, having been married last year.

Everybody wants the moon these days, but the F. Jos. Lamb Company, a Detroit-based special machine ifirm, got him. That is to say, banker PhilMoon was elected to that firm's board of directors to serve as financial adviser. Phil, a longtime Detroiter as his graduation from that city's Central High School reveals, joined the National Bank of Detroit in 1945 and after a variety of managerial posts he was elected a vice president in 1960. He's also a visiting lecturer at the University of Michigan's Graduate School of Business Administration.

Once again winter is (happily) on the way and by the time this issue hits the news stands perhaps we will have it licked. From the reporting standpoint it has been a fine season with a fair supply of good news and happy events to record. Next issue, we trust, will find the ski boots in the attic and the golf shoes at least as far as the garage.
