The Dartmouth College Glee Club under the direction of Paul Zeller came to town on Friday, April 3, 1964. Approximately 400 enthusiastic alumni, family, and friends attended the performance at the Germantown Cricket Club. Following the concert, a party ensued at the Cricket Club and a good time was had by all.

Bob Clothier '58, general chairman, and Ron Scott '55, a Glee Club alumnus, are the parties responsible for the enjoyable evening. Hew Cook Jr. '55 was the Club's host at the Germantown Cricket Club. SamParke Jr. '60 made sure that all of the members of the Glee Club had suitable accommodations for the evening. Through the efforts of DeLong Monahan '24, we had the greatest number of patrons in our history for the Glee Club Concert.

Profits from the concert go to our Scholarship Fund in Hanover, N. H., and among the patrons who are responsible for bringing the Glee Club to Philadelphia are the following: H. Sheridan Baketel '20, Gordon Crouter '24, Herbert J. Dietrich '42, Russell C. Dilks '51, Harrison F. Dunning '30 William H. Greenwood Jr. '37, William T. Goulburn '51, Rolfe M. Harvey '27, H. Vic Smith '17 has been reelected to serve an additional two-year term on the Alumni Council as the representative from this area.

Art Judson '52 has agreed to take over the responsibilities of managing the team in the local Softball League. Please contact him at home, CH 7-7811, or at his office, PE 5-1000, if you are interested in playing.

The next regularly scheduled Club activities are our golf outing to be held with the date to be announced in the future and our annual picnic scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 1964, at the farm of Hugh Kenworthy Jr.'41 in Coatesville, Pa.

Further information concerning these affairs will only be sent to all dues-paying alumni. So far, we have over 225 members of our Club which is almost twice the membership as compared with 1962 for this date. The Club goal is to obtain as many dues-paying members as there are alumni in the area. Everyone can help by either paying their dues or urging non-members to join.
