Fall is finally here and with it, of course, the start of what we hopefully expect will be another outstanding Football Season for the Big Green. To help celebrate the coming season as-well as to renew our loyalties to Dartmouth, many of us in Philadelphia attended Dartmouth Night Ceremonies at the Poor Richard Club and enjoyed a radio hook-up with Hanover to partake in Dartmouth Night festivities as well as to watch the NFL -Championship Football Game between the Colts and the Browns along with the Football highlights film of the Big Green for 1964. After a delicious buffet, the radio hook-up and the movies, card playing and drinks followed.
All who read this article will be required to pass, by word of mouth, the following information: Pre-Princeton Party for the benefit of the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia Scholarship Fund from 11:30 A.M. to game time at the ROTC Hall on the Princeton side of Palmer Stadium, near the open end of the Stadium. Admission $1.00, children under 15,50¢. Picnic tables, bring your own lunch. Beer and set-ups provided. Heated room and bathrooms, etc. Help make this the biggest attraction of the year - help root the Big Green on to victory.
On Monday, September 20, approximately 25 alumni attended an evening Work Shop given by Al Quirk '59 and Ralph Manuel '58 concerning enrollment and interviewing of applicants for Dartmouth. The Work Shop was preceded by an afternoon session with guidance counsellors in the area and the entire day was most enlightening for all involved. We hope to make this an annual affair if possible in Philadelphia as our National Enrollment Committeeman, DickLippmann '42, is already preparing for next year's affair.
We in Philadelphia are very proud of our president, Tom Malcolm '54, for having received the award as the outstanding Club President of the year. Tom's activities not only encompass work as club president but his primary talents lay in enrollment and there are many boys currently at Dartmouth due to Tom's fine efforts.
