The New Year of 1966 is with us. Just as year by year this season grows more precious so do friends as we come to greet each other when the New Year begins so I wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year; classmates, wives, widows, sons, daughters and families all. Keep smiling!

Art Winslow and Elizabeth are back home again at 1 Bowden Street, Waterville, Me., after spending the summer at Owl's Head, Rockland, Me. Art is still handicapped from his fall last May, but says that he is making progress slowly and is looking forward to our informal reunion in Hanover in June. Art, you have our very best wishes.

In November your secretary had a letter from Edith Winslow O'Neill which reads as follows: "I am glad to report some good news on the condition of your classmate, Jim O'Neill. He went to the Sharon Hospital a couple of weeks ago and was successfully operated on last week for an intestinal polyp. He came through with flying colors, but will not be home for a number of days. His spirits are very good, but he'll feel better when he is on solid food again. He sends his best to you and to the rest of the class." Jim, you have our best wishes for complete recovery and soon!

Cliff Norris, 52 Circuit Drive, Cranston, R. I. 02905 celebrated his 87th birthday on November 5 and writes that he is enjoying life and gets around without a cane. Keep up the good work, Cliff. You are our oldest living classmate!

Cully Pierce sent me a newspaper clipping which also contains a photograph stating that Rocky Hazen is the runner-up to the champion of the La Jolla Shuffleboard Club. This is quite interesting for Bishop and I played shuffleboard there with Rocky last June. Hurrah!

New addresses: Edward B. Barker, 15 Evans Avenue, Rutherford, N. J. 07070. Arthur H. Leavitt, 3903 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, Va. 22030. Leon A. Sprague, Box 772, Anna Maria, Fla. 33501. Mrs. Robert C. Cochrane, 10 Frye Street, Lewiston, Me.

Birthdays of classmates in January are Judge McLane, 7; Augustus Wiswall, 8; Earle Stone, 18; and H. Henry Hill, 31. We wish you all happy and healthy birthdays.

On Veterans' Day, November 11, Bishop Niles and Art Chapin 'O6 visited us in West Upton and we toured the town for Art's an- cestors were early settlers in the town of Upton.

Harry McDevitt's brother and sister, George and Edith McDevitt, sent your secretary his first Christmas card for 1966. Very thoughtful folks.

The Dartmouth varsity football team was quite remarkable finally defeating Columbia 47-0; Cornell 20-0; and Princeton 28-14. Nine victories and no defeats, making them the Ivy League champions and at the same time winning the 30th Lambert Annual Trophy. Congratulations to all the members of this wonderful team and to Coach Bob Blackman, the New England coach of the year!

Your secretary always looks forward to hearing from you by telephone, mail, or seeing you in person whenever you can make it.

Secretary, 8 Grafton Rd. West Upton, Mass. 01587
