You will be interested to know that as of January 1, 1962, 32 of our classmates, twenty wives and three widows have signified their intention of attending our 55th reunion on June 8, 9, and 10 in Hanover. More will plan to do so I am sure, so "Let's have a Wah-Hoo-Wah for Dartmouth and 1962."
Robert R. Lane, "Bob," and Elizabeth of Cape Elizabeth, Me., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19. The reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lawrence (daughter Marietta) with sons Robert of Westbrook, Me., and John of Pittsburgh, Pa., and their families; also Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hall (daughter Eleanor) of Marblehead, Mass., together with five of their eight grandchildren and numerous friends. "Bob" and Betty enjoyed a second honeymoon trip to North Conway and were presented with an auto by their children's families. "Phil" Chase represented the class and met all the children and grandchildren. A good time was enjoyed by all.
Earl T. Richards on December 11 became "Clerk of the Works" for Donald J. Prout and Associates, architects in Providence, R. I., on the new Sterry Street Elementary School for the City of Pawtucket. This is to be an eighteen-room one-story school, with an all purpose room, boiler room, offices, etc. A $900,000 operation and will take a full year to complete. Nice work, Tim!
We all extend deep sympathy to John F.("Crick") Crocker whose wife, Abby, died last October. She had been ill for a year and nine months after two operations. They had been married 48 years.
Word has come through to me that HarryMcDevitt of 95 Gardner St., Allston, Mass., has been seriously ill for sometime. We pray that you get well at once, Harry, so that you will be in "good voice" for our 55th reunion in June. It would be nice for classmates to write him.

William Rice Kimball and Ethel of 559 Ogden Canyon, Ogden, Utah, are enjoying good health. Rice says "I knew a man in Salt Lake City - in his 80's who told me that each morning before he got up he looked in the obituaries and if his name was not there he got up!" Time is sure running out on us all!

Jack Stilphen's widow Gwendolyn wrote me a nice letter saying that she and HarryHaley's widow Alice will attend our 55th reunion and hope that Joseph McCann's widow Mildred will also. My wish is that all the widows of our classmates could attend.
