Greetings to all classmates, their wives and widows and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

The pre-Harvard game luncheon of the Sages of 1906 (1904-1908) at the Algonquin Club, Boston, on Friday, October 27, 12, noon was a delightful get-together. BishopNiles, Bill Smart, and Grebenstein were present with Walter Powers, Ned Redman, Art Chapin, Randall Cooke (and his companion, Don Dunbar '44), all of '06, Matt Bullock '04 and Roger Brown '05. A good time was had by all.

On Friday night before this Harvard game Bob Lyons of Washington, D. C., telephoned your secretary to meet him at 1:15 Saturday at Gate 24 of the Stadium for he had seats in Section 6, on the fifty-yard line. I did just that on this perfect football day and we enjoyed a great game which Dartmouth won 23-21 in the final minutes. The weather was good and some 43,000 people were present. Bob Blackman must be congratulated, along with all those Dartmouth football players.

Allan Brown writes that his neighbor at Locust Farm on Taunton Road, East Andover, shot a 350-1b. bear recently at the top of the hill after the bear had torn Allan's sickle pear tree to pieces which created a lot of excitement in the neighborhood.

George and Fern Liscomb of New London, N. H., had their 19th wedding anniversary in October. Fern writes that George has endured a summer of ill health and is now trying to adjust himself to a very slow recovery. Best wishes to you both.

Bob and Betty Lane of Rocky Hill Rd., Cape Elizabeth, Me., celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on October 9. Congratulations to you all. Keep well and happy as always! Your Secretary and Ethel Grebenstein will celebrate their 43rd anniversary on December 31. It's a great life!
