Although it was not possible to schedule this year's fall meeting on Dartmouth Night, the Georgia Club turned out in record breaking numbers for an outdoor barbecue at the lovely home of Richard and AlyceEverett '40 in Atlanta on Friday, October 7. The weatherman was most considerate and provided a delightful evening for the outing. Approximately fifty people turned out for the annual event which included a cocktail hour and dinner. We were especially pleased to see so many new faces at this year's event.

Following dinner, Alva Wilson '25, president, moderated a brief business session which included reports from Ed Gingrich'48, Club treasurer and Dick Everett '40, co-chairman of enrollment. The nominating committee gave its report and a new slate of officers, to serve for the customary two-year term, was submitted and voted upon. The new officers are C. Carlton "Kelly"Coffin '43, president; Keith S. Latimore '61, vice president; Glower W. Jones '58, secretary; and John E. Gingrich '48, treasurer.

"Kelly" Coffin paid special tribute to AlvaWilson '25, outgoing president, who had considerately volunteered to serve out the final year of Don Smith's ('53) term when Don was called by his company back to Boston in the fall of 1965. Alva has previously been both secretary and president of this Club and a member for 32 years.

The Dartmouth Club of Georgia looks forward to another challenging year in enrollment work and feels that it is making real strides with some of our schools which have not previously been sending us candidates.

The evening concluded with movies of the 25th Reunion of the Class of 1941 shown by Major Richard Paul of that class who is serving at Robins Air Force Base. The Dartmouth Club of Georgia will be sending its usual telegram of congratulations to the College and football team on Dartmouth Night, October 14, 1966.
