This June issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE will arrive just previous to our informal reunion, Commencement weekend, June 10, 11, and 12. We have been assigned to Middle Fayerweather, the same as last year, and we look forward to seeing old friends in Hanover on that occasion.
Dr. Earle B. Fowler's wife, Barbara, celebrates her 50th reunion at Vassar this June. Earle has retired from practice as an eye doctor, but is busy, healthy, and happy at home in River Forest, Ill. He writes your secretary that William Rice Kimball (Bruno) of Ogden, Utah, has a new dog and that he has named it Bruno which brought back thoughts of those college days when we lived at Proctor House and our classmate, the late Tom Perry, who thought up that name.
Herman H. Hill of Silver Spring, Md., is looking forward to attending our informal reunion, and his son Wayne K.'s 25th and his grandson, Wayne K. Jr.'s graduation on June 12 in Hanover. Isn't that interesting?
Harley E. Mann and Mattie of North Haverhill, N. H., are enjoying good health and are looking forward to seeing classmates when in their vicinity. Don J. Williams' fourteenth great-grandchild was born on April 6, 1966.
Classmates having birthdays in June are: Benjamin Washburn (1), Edward Barker (3), Robert Stokes and George Jamison (6), and Edward Harris (11). We wish you all a very happy, healthy birthday.
George E. Liscomb was the roster editor of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of New Hampshire which is enjoying its 75th anniversary.
Allan Brown, Robert Kenyon, LeonSprague, and William Walker have returned home from their winter vacations in Florida and are in shape for our 59th informal reunion.
The V.F.W. has voted to present a Good Citizenship Award in June to your secretary for his many years of service to the people of Upton.
The 1966 Alumni Fund campaign closes on June 30 and it is hoped that all of our living classmates will participate in this campaign, for Dear Old Dartmouth, the college on the hill. One hundred percent participation will make us all happy. You all and your head Class Agent, Bob Kenyon, will then enjoy a wonderful summer, I do believe.
Best wishes to all. Drop me a line now and then. I enjoy your letters. Some and visit us when you can. You will always be welcome. See you in June.
