After a two-year "leave of absence" from the Tuck column, I am delighted to be back in the writer's chair and will attempt to maintain the fine job done by my predecessors. John Albee reported fully on the activities of the Faculty in the last issue and I am, therefore, free to attack the huge (and wonderful) pile of letters and articles reporting on the changes in the lives and occupations of the great Tuck alumni body. Some of reports may be slightly old since they came in during the summer, so we shall try to report them briefly and attempt to get current before the next issue.

Robert L. Clark T'41 of Weston, Conn., has been elected a vice president of the investment firm of Hayden, Stone Inc. Richard I). Hill T'42, president of the First National Bank of Boston, has been elected a director by the Polaroid Corporation. Charles F. Hathaway T'39 is vice president of Charles R. Keene & Associates, Inc., a new consulting firm in the actuarial and employee benefit field in Indianapolis. DonaldE. Dorough T'59 transferred from the San Francisco to the Brussels office of Arthur Andersen & Company recently, and has moved his family to Belgium to begin this new experience.

William J. Chapman T'36 was elected senior vice president in charge of the loan committee of the First National Bank of St. Louis. Francis R. He was recently named a director on the staff of the World Wide Coordinator for Crude Oil for this corporation. MarcelDurot T'53 is now president of the Paper Mate Companies, an operating division, of the Gillette Company. James Nova T'62 has moved from General Motors to Bache & Company in New York.

Fritz Gugelmann T'39, chairman of Swissair Transport Company, spent some time in this country during the summer to place orders for American-made aircraft and parts. Mr. Gugelmann went to Swissair after many years in a family textile business. JohnCitron T'58 has been named comptroller and assistant treasurer of Embassy Pictures Corporation, having joined the company early in 1966 after long service with Arthur Andersen & Company. James R. Morse T'49 has been admitted as a general partner of White Weld & Company. Charles MorrisonT'55 and Paul Wilson T'55 were admitted to partnership in Arthur Andersen & Company during the summer. Eugene A. Ulrich T'51 has joined Sinclair Oil Corporation as corporate auditor, following 14 years with a New York CPA firm. George A. BartonT'65 has been elected assistant research and development officer at the Worcester County National Bank.

Well, that does it on space so will have to defer additional news until the next issue. I apologize for the rapid-fire reporting above, without benefit of interesting sidelights on the various alumni mentioned, but space simply did not permit that type of reporting. We shall try to improve upon our prose in coming issues.

Best regards from the hills.
