Before any other business, let this be another reminder for anyone in the Hartford area on February 26 that the Glee Club will be with us then for the first time in four years with an unusual Sunday afternoon concert. Time will be 2 p.m. and the place will be the King Phillip School on King Phillip Drive in West Hartford. As an added incentive to insure your attendance, this concert will be held in conjunction with the St. Joseph College counterpart of our Club and its Injunaires. This should add the delight of feminine pulchritude to the pleasant harmonies to which we are accustomed when Paul Zeller's Singing Ambassadors are in town. It goes without saying that the St. Joseph Group enjoys an excellent reputation for its vocal accomplishments, and deservedly so. Attend the event on the 26th and see what we mean. Pete Schwartz '60, Concert Chairman, personally guarantees an outstanding family afternoon or tickets will be cheerfully returned.

Another future date to reserve for Dartmouth now is our annual meeting on May 25 at which President Dickey will be the principal speaker. Details will be announced at a later date.

Looking backwards briefly, our December luncheon featured two most interesting off-the-cuff talks by a pair of our favorite son State Legislators, recently elected. They were Representative Jim Lowell Jr. '51 of the Canton-Avon district, and Representative Dave Neiditz '52 of the West Hartford district. Residents of those areas can be justly proud of these men who impressed those present as dedicated to the cause of better government for Connecticut.

The annual Football Highlights film was the "entertainment" for the January luncheon, and of course it's always enjoyable to witness a winning season over again on film. And if this reaches you before the second Wednesday in February, don't miss that one for we are having as guest speaker, Dan Dimancescu '64 who will once again show us how dull our lives really are compared to a kayak trip around Japan (coming subject) or a canoe expedition down the Danube (last year's tale). The City Club on Allyn Street is the place for this vicarious voyage, or for just a good meal and a chance to talk over old times or current events with other interested Dartmouth men.
