Note the date of our regular reunion. Thanks to C.C. Hills, our efficient reunion chairman, we can look forward to gathering in Hanover Friday, July 7, for the program that will come to a close Sunday noon, July 9, with luncheon at the Outing Club as usual. The official Class meeting will be held with the dinner, Saturday evening. Better make your reservations at once. We hope that those of you whose health will permit will make a real effort to join in making this a happy affair. You will receive more specific details from C.C.
Presumably the Florida contingent of our 'OS group who have been staying for weeks or months in that warm climate are now back in their homes. Roger Brown called me (and others) by phone as he was on his way back to West Medford with Jane. C.C. Hills sent me the word about the reunion from Norwich, so I know that he is back. A card from the Alumni Records office informed me of Fred Chase's return north. That's all the definite information that I have.
S.B. Cunningham drops me a line occasionally. All is well wilth him and Louise, but, I regret, they are not expecting to come on to the reunion. They are comfortable on their ranch and Louise enjoys her garden.
Through S.B. I learned of George Stevens' death February 17. His end, his widow writes in a note to S.B., was sudden, but he had been ill for some time. I have sent a note of sympathy for the Class to Mrs. Stevens.
Mildred and I are looking forward to seeing several of the 'O5 folk at the class officers' meeting May 12-13 in Hanover.
