Greetings to you all and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, with the fond hope that you will plan now to attend our 55th Reunion in 1962 in Hanover on Dartmouth Campus with all its beautiful surroundings among your classmates, wives, widows, children and grandchildren. June usually has lovely summer weather so think of the cordial greetings, warm handshakes, and friendly smiles you will receive from those fortunate to be with us at Dear Old Dartmouth on that occasion.

Harold L. Niles, 28 Valley Road, Wellesley Hills 81, Mass., has become our class treasurer as of November 1, succeeding SamBarflett to whom we are very grateful for carrying on since Dr. Harry Storrs' death and for the fine job Sam did over the years.

Robert D. Kenyon is our new Head Class Agent relieving Phil Chase who gave such excellent service to the class and the College. Bob left for Florida on October 30 and his winter address is Box 322, Ann Maria, Fla.

Sam Bartlett spent two weeks with the Chases at Kennebunk Beach, Me., in October and while there Bob Kenyon came over and closed his arrangements with Phil to take over as Head Class Agent. Sam also visited Bob Lane at Cape Elizabeth and Hobbs Knight at Ogunquit, Me., both of whom seem to be in good health and happy. Sam called Jim O'Neill, our class president, on the telephone and says that Jim is making a very good recovery, was cheerful, and feels quite well but must keep very quiet.

Art Farrington and Marguerite of Bronxville, N. Y., are enjoying life and attended the Dartmouth vs. Columbia game. Harley Mann and wife of Slab City, N. H., are in excellent health. Wendell Churchill of Berlin, N. H., sure loves his trout fishing.

Re George Liscomb and Fern of Suncook, N. H., Fern writes that they have started fixing their fall-out shelter and when it is all set up she will be relieved. As local civil defense director of Upton, I'd say that they are really doing the smart thing!

Bill Sanborn is chief clerk of the works, Division of Building Construction, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, at the State Teachers' College, Framingham, Mass., on the new Home Economics and Science Building as well as boiler plant improvements. Keep going. Bill!

On a recent trip to New Hampshire the Kenyons and your secretary and wife made an afternoon call on our classmate, EarleStone, wife Mary and son James at their dairy farm in Dunbarton. We received a nice welcome.

Golden autumn weather graced the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Harold L.and Luna Niles on Saturday, October 7. In honor of the occasion an afternoon reception was held at 46 Glen Road, Wellesley Hills, the scene of the 1911 ceremony at which Luna Knight French, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scott French, was married to "Bishop" Niles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louiville Veranes Niles.

Hosts and hostesses for the reception were the Niles' children, Mr. and Mrs. Louiville French Niles of Hingham, Mass., and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Peabody Parker of 46 Glen Road. Among the invited guests were attendants and guests who were present fifty years ago. Bishop and Luna have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Jonathan Loder Niles.

Our congratulations to you folks who have shared together your love and devotion for fifty years.

Allan Brown, Don Houghton and Gertrude are on their way to Anna Maria, Fla. Fred Lena and Harriet will soon be there.

William D. Walker's winter address is 633 8th St. North, St. Petersburg, Fla. Rev.Charles A. Wing's new address is 41 Concord Ave., Cambridge 38, Mass.

The Grebensteins attended the Harvard game with the Sanborns on that beautiful fall afternoon on October 28. I never like the questionable penalties near any goal line. The game was well played and a close one. We enjoyed meeting classmates Kitching and daughter Jessie, and Bill Smart, also Walter Powers '06 and wife and Al Newton '10 and daughter.

Keep the news items coming and start planning now to be with your classmates in Hanover for our 55th Reunion in June.

Secretary, Box 321, 8 Grafton Rd. West Upton, Mass.

Treasurer, 28 Valley Rd., Wellesley Hills 81, Mass.
