Strengthening the Dartmouth Medical School Alumni Association will be the object of a meeting of the executive committee in Rochester, Minn., in early December. Steps have already been taken to enlist class representatives, and some of those who have agreed to serve have begun their efforts to organize their classes. Tom Hall M'58, now practicing in Traverse City, Mich., was honored recently by the Thirlby Memorial Award for "the best medical paper delivered by a practicing urologist." .. . Eric Sailer M'61 dropped in on his way from a Montreal visit before returning to open an office in New Haven upon completion of his last year of residency. . . . Another M'61 visitor was Sol Rockenmacher with his wife and two of their three children. . . . The engagement of Rog Christian M' 63, presently a surgical resident at Peter Bent Brigham in Boston, to Ann Carter Berger, a Children's Hospital nurse, has been headlined in a New Jersey newspaper. . . . After completing his stint with N.I.H., Abe Aronow M' 64 will go to a medical residency at the University of California at San Francisco next July.
The Ernie Weymullers M' 64 are spending their time in Athens overlooking the Mediterranean between Ernie's duty hours, as surgeon in a dispensary. . . . John Gunderson M'65 brought his wife to Hanover for a short October vacation. . . . Dave Wells M'65 stopped off on his way back to Montreal from a Bermuda vacation especially to show us his nine-month-old daughter. He reported the good condition of the Dick Garibaldis M'65 and their three, as well as of the Walt Griffins M'65 plus their two. . . . Steve Sherman M' 66 walked in to report that he is now in Epidemic Intelligence. . . . And we would like to know if that easy-on-the-eyes girl Dick Kaiser M' 67 brought to Hanover on Columbus Day is his wife or just a prospect.
