The freshman teams on the whole did better than their varsity counterparts The basketball team ended with an 8-6 mark, including final victories over Yale and Brown. Dave Blaine had 43 points against the Elis and the Bruins, while Pete Coker had a total of 40 points for the two nights.

The freshman hockey team, though undermanned, came through with a successful 12-8 season. In their final outing the little Indians were beaten by Princeton 7-4. Elsewhere on the freshman scene, the swimmers finished 4-3, as did the '65 track team. The wrestlers were 3-2 for the winter and the squash team was 0-3.
