It is with great sadness that I have to report that Arthur (Art) Winslow passed away on January 12 and Carlos (Cully) Pierce on January 15. See In Memoriam of this or a later issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
Bob Kenyon, Fred Baldwin, and LeonSprague attended the Dartmouth meeting on January 19 at the home of James Bonnyman '38, president of the Sarasota, Fla., club. A wonderful time was enjoyed by all 58 loyals from the classes of 'OS to '38.
I have just received word that Marian Jewett of Meredith, N.H., widow of our classmate John Vernon Jewett, died recently at her home of a heart attack. Mary Elizabeth Ryder, widow of our Charles D. Ryder, passed away in March of 1967 at Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Elwin R. Cutts of Milford, N.H., died July 10, 1967.
Bishop Niles has been spending the month of January at Fort Myers Beach, Fla., enjoying the light westerly breezes off the Gulf of Mexico. That west coast of Florida will help keep him young.
Perley and Esther Churchill and Elsie, Wendall Churchill's widow, write that they are enthused by the beautiful winter weather in Berlin, N.H. The skiing has been perfect up in the North Country. Sarah Woodworth writes that the scenery is especially beautiful this winter in New London, N.H.
Fred H. Baldwin, "The Old Salt of Cape Cod, Mass.," on December 18 was elected president emeritus of Manatee County, Fla., Chapter #75 of the American Association of Retired Persons. What a busy classmate!
Mrs. Ralph Sherburne Perkins (Besse L.) has a new address: Lake View House, 465 7th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Fla. 33701.
Word has just been received that GeorgeEdward Liscomb is back in the New London, N.H., Hospital and is very weak. It would be nice if classmates would send him some cheerful get-well cards.
Your secretary has received some exceptionally friendly letters from Elsie Taylor, Elizabeth Winslow, Dorothy Pierce, Marion Dutton, and Rusty Wright's daughters.

On February 1, your Secretary completed his annual job as supervisor of street listing and checking the list of voters of the Town of Upton. The population of this small town is approximately 3400.
