The Dartmouth Alumni Fund campaign for 1969 and the Third Century Fund drive are very important for Dartmouth's future and we hope that all classmates will contribute. Bob Kenyon, your class agent, is hard at work as always.

Word has been received that George H.Hoyt ("Bit") has closed his real estate office in Berkeley, Calif., and that he and his wife Harriette are taking things easy at their apartment in Rossmoor, Walnut Creek, Calif. 94529 after a long period of sickness. Your classmates wish you the very best of health in the future!

The Class Officers meetings in Hanover on Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3 were enjoyed by all of us: Kenyon, Crocker,Sprague, Grebenstein, and Niles, our retired class treasurer. We were based at the Hanover Inn.

Classmates having birthdays m June are: Edward B. Barker, 3, born 1885; Robert T. Stokes, 6, born 1895; George H. Jamison, 6, born 1886; and Edwin R. Harris, 11, born 1880. Keep well and smiling too as always.

It is with deepest regret that your secretary has to report to you that our beloved classmate, John R. McLane, passed away on Monday, April 21 at his home in Manchester, N. H., after a long illness. See In Memoriam for complete information.
