Although I have yet to be chided concerning my omissions from the list of those attending the fall reunion, it appears from my multiple pocket system of note keeping that at least five of the - faithfuls were omitted. In particular, Gail and Tom Gerber were in attendance as were Freda and Fred Richardson, Doreen and Bill Wilson, John Koslowski, and Chet Roche. There have been no pity-takers on your secretary from the attendees at the Harvard or Yale games, except that D.J. and Bud Hall advised that there was a very good turn-out at New Haven. The final game at Princeton should be a beaut.

Kelly Coffin, who gets to Washington occasionally, stopped by a few weeks ago to bemoan the fact that he and Janie had no prospects for a trip to Hanover this fall. He did bring word of Chuck Feeney, whose condition apparently fluctuates with the Giants. With the Western Division contest being so hot, Chuck followed the team into Atlanta where the Braves were far from hospitable. Kelly also advised that during one of Chuck's earlier trips this year, a '43 gathering resulted with the Coffins, the DonCrances and the Hud Kings. Late in the evening it appeared appropriate to call Popular Bob Clark in Keene, which of course they did - collect.

Jim EUeman, president of the Trust Company National Bank of Morristown, N. J., has been named to serve on the visiting committee on the social sciences for Drew University. He and 46 other 'leaders of business and education are members of the newly formed visiting committees, which are expected to serve as sounding boards for improving teaching, research, and administrative practices. Jim makes his home on Colville Drive, Mendham, N. J., with Shirley and their three children.

Lamed Waterman sends news of TomBates who is Charlie Donovan's ex-room-mate. Tom retired three years ago as vice president and sales manager of Red Jacket Pump Co. and is now farming 600 acres of what Larned refers to as "probably the richest soil in lowa." Tom does most of the work himself and, according to Larned, "has regained his college weight and probably never looked better in his life." Tom married Vera Virginia French, a leading psychiatrist in the Davenport, lowa, area and they have three children - twin sons and a daughter. In addition, we learned that Larned is now vice president of the Board of Trustees of St. Luke's Hospital, that he and wife Mary have five children, one of whom, Larned Jr., is serving in the USAF. Larned is a prominent attorney in Davenport and continues active in local civic affairs.

Bus Mosbacher is in the limelight again, this time as recipient of the Annual Colonel Edward Eagan Sportsman's award of the year. Both Charlie Donovan and your Secretary have been invited to join the honorary committee for Bus, and Charlie is setting up a D '43 table for the dinner on December 8.

In the Big City, Bill Zeitung has been elected a vice president of Marsteller Inc., an advertising agency with offices across the country and in Europe. He joined the firm in 1967 as an account executive and was promoted to associate creative director later that year. Before joining Marsteller, he was vice president and copy chief of R. W. Mutch & Co. and vice president and creative director of C. J. LaRoche & Co. He earned a doctorate of letters from the University of Paris (Sorbonne).

Chaplain (Col.) Brad Morse, assumed the duties as base chaplain at Randolph AFB this past summer, moving to Randolph from Shaw AFB, S. C. After the war, Brad studied theology and became pastor of the Congregational Church in Weston, Conn., until 1950, when he was recalled into the service. Since that time he has remained on active duty and lists Korea and the Yukon Territory as some of his posts.

Neil Tyler, now living at 21 Comstock Road in Manchester, N. H., has been named to the Manchester Advisory Board of Hartford National Bank and Trust Co. Neil is also president of the Manchester Lumber Company.

Elmer Stevens writes from Exeter, N. H., that Joe Crowley is making the sports pages regularly in Boston. Joe is head football coach and in his fifteenth year at South Boston. According to the Boston Herald Traveler, Joe "is 96-12-1 since '55, has won nine Boston district titles, shared in two others and lost to arch-rival East Boston only twice in fourteen seasons. Oh, yes, he's had four undefeated teams and eight others which were one loss away from a perfect season." If Bob Blackman ever needs help, we can tell him where to look!

Sticking with the Boston area, Fred Stock-well is in the news again in that he has been elected a director of the Bank Holding Company of Bay State Corp. and president of the Boston YMCA.

Bob Field of Purdy Station and Price Waterhouse and Co. in New York was named Westchester County Area Chairman of the Third Century Fund, while Van Lloyd, currently professor of psychology at Wilson College, has become chairman of the Psychology Department there.

Mel Fenichell, a general partner in Eastman Dillon Union Securities & Co. in New York, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Westcoast Production Co. Ltd., which engages primarily in oil and gas exploration in Western and Northern Canada.

Finally, since this will appear in the December issue, we want to wish all the class the joys of the Christmas and Holiday Season and Best Wishes for the coming year - may it be a good one for the class, the college, the country and the world.
