Tom Knott recently sent out a most interesting letter telling of the great joy our NgPoh Hua has given the entire Knott family after living with them for the summer. The letter will be sent in to Dean Sheldon for publication in the "Wha Who Whisper" at some later date.

One of our post-class secretaries, StuSanders, has recently left the bachelor ranks. Stu and Miss Nancy Dutton were married in Cambridge, Mass., in September. Nancy is with the Boston Redevelopment Authority and Stu is on the staff of the Roxbury Action Program.

Dick Whitney has been named vice president of the exclusive apparel unit of Warner's, a division of Warnaco, Inc. Dick resides in Fairfield, Conn. Dr. David Rubin has recently joined the staff of Morton Hospital in Taunton, Mass., as a pathologist. Dave graduated from Johns Hopkins in 1960 and has spent the last three years as assistant pathologist at Mt. Sinai in Milwaukee. Howard Sandler has recently been named controller for Sibany Mfg. Corp., Riverside, Conn. He has moved to Stratford with his wife and two children. John Palmer is an attorney with the Santa Fe Railway primarily engaged in the personal injury trial field. He passed on the information that Brad Leonard has left Washington, D. C., to work for Governor Ogilvie of Illinois in setting up a budget system.

Rick Worrell and his wife recently welcomed their second daughter and third child in Providence where Rick is a pension consultant, member of the Providence City Council, and other community get-togethers. Toby Julian, still with IBM, recently moved to Belle Mead, N. J. Don Davidoff has gradually shifted from law to administration with the State of New York. As of August, 1969, he is associate director, Division of Health Economics, New York State Health Department. Don, his wife Joanne, and two sons, 9 and 6, reside in Albany.

Bob French and his wife Jenny recently returned to the U.S. after spending eight months in Oxford and three months in Florence. Bill Wheeler, his wife Sheila, and newly born son have moved to San Mateo, Calif., where he reports all is well, working hard, etc. Larry Morse is completing residency requirements for his Ph.D. in Syracuse. It's good to see the believers in the continuing education process.

Doug Keare reports that he, Ginger, and family are still in Malaysia where things, though still hectic, are no longer dangerous. Doug will be there with the Ford Foundation until next fall interrupted by a short trip home over the Christmas holidays this year.

Another step up for Tony Richter at the New York Life Insurance Co. He has been promoted to associate group actuary. It's been a steady climb upward for him since he joined New York Life in 1960 as an actuarial student after two years' service in the Army. He was promoted to actuarial assistant in 1964, assistant actuary in 1966, and assistant group actuary in 1967. In 1966 he also became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Bill Batch has been made a vice president of Dean Witter & Co. and joins fellow classmate Duke Hust in this select group. Ron Lewis and a few associates are forming a marketing and consultant organization after several years with Lippincott & Margulier in similar work. Ron will be in charge of business work, which includes business development and planning. Tom Curless has brought us up-to-date on his whereabouts after many years. He has been with Price Waterhouse & Co. as a CPA for 10 years and resides in Chatham, N. J. They recently had an addition to their family (a boy at that) after 6½ years and three girls. As Tom said, this was amazing! I hope he stops in Milwaukee on his journey to Northern Wisconsin and his annual fishing trips in the future.

Pete Purvis is an engineering test pilot with the aerospace division of Westinghouse in Baltimore. Pete left the Navy after 11½ years of active duty. He reports seeing TedSheridan recently who is a fellow weekend warrior flying F-8's.

Bob Schwartz has a new job as director of research for Pyne, Kendall & Hollister, an investment brokerage firm. For the past seven years he had been associated with McDonnell & Co. He began as senior analyst covering the retail trade and cosmetics industries, became assistant vice president in 1966, advanced to vice president the following year, and in 1968 was named director of research. A chartered financial analyst, he is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Tom Reynolds is moving to Chicago from New York to join the law firm of Lord, Bissell, and Brook. Bill Crate is working for Computer Applications offering exotic services like "Speed Data" - replacement for SAMI and Nielsen services. Jack Robinson is branching out into the banking business as well as "Robinson Reminders." Arville Hickerson was recently promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the Army. He's currently attending USA Command and General Staff College, Ft. Leavenworth, Kans. Arv recently returned from two years in Vietnam and reports he is still single. HarveyLitt, another bachelor, has recently joined Loeb, Rhoades & Co. in New York as a representative.
