Chuck Cleveland '44 graciously offered his Bronxville home for Joe Stevenson's('57) 'Annual Enrollment Gathering." Fifty of the counties' finest scholars heard TomSchwarz '57 (Enrollment Director), DaveMetz '54 (President), and Joe (National Committeeman) talk about the College from the alumni viewpoint. The session was highlighted by undergraduate commentary on Dartmouth Today led by Bob Cordy '71 (Ossining), Bob Tsigonis '72 (Valhalla), and jack Vida '72 (Rye). Refreshments and informal conversation followed. Joe feels each prospect and the many alumni present found this gathering informative and, at times, inspirational!
Mark your calendar now. On March 1, 1969 at 8:30 p.m. in the Scarsdale High School, Scarsdale, N. Y., you will be treated to a memorable Concert... featuring Paul Zeller's "60 Singing Ambassadors" backed by elements of the Dartmouth players, undergraduate musicians, contributions from college broadcasting personnel and a supporting cast of technicians. Professor Zeller has put together a memorable evening that will record Dartmouth's history in song, sound and light... an audio-visual spectacular that no Dartmouth man should miss. They call it "An Affair of the Heart." We call it Dartmouth's bicentennial tribute to alumni, family, and friends in Westchester. We hope many Alumni in Fairfield County, Northwestern (Conn.), Bergen (N. J.), MidHudson, New York City, and Long Island will attend as this will be the only showing accessible to them this spring. Westchester residents can purchase tickets through their area chairman, or simply call Dick Prior'60 (Irvington LY 1-7720), Ed Boyer '53 (Scarsdale 723-7232) or George Carlson '59 (Pleasantville 769-0774). Non-Westchester residents should call these gentlemen, too. Your order will be promptly filled! Ticket prices: Patron $25 (per pair), General Admission $4, Student $1. Tickets will also be on sale at the door, however, a packed house is expected and Dick Prior, Concert Chairman, advises the purchase of tickets in advance. We hope to see many of you there.
